Rockin' Like Randy Rhoads
In New Orleans, Louisiana, jazz is king. However, two and half hours northwest in Shreveport, Louisiana, LKR students are shredding up a heavy metal storm!
12-year old Quintin Richardson, who has been learning guitar in his LKR class, decided he wanted to win the Jackson® Randy Rhoads™ electric guitar that Little Kids Rock was gifting to the student who could play the best Randy Rhoads solo. The former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist died in a plane crash in 1982.
The mild-mannered young rocker practiced and practiced and eventually blew everyone's minds with his face-melting solo and crisp rendition of "Crazy Train."
He has since written several of his own songs on his new axe and continues to blast the airwaves with his heavy metal riffs.
