Host Your Own Fundraiser – FAQs
We’re excited that you’re interested in becoming a part of our movement to restore, expand and innovate music programming for kids. Below are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about hosting an event.
What kind of help will I receive from Little Kids Rock for my event?
Did you know that last year’s fundraisers hosted by generous individuals like you helped raised enough money to provide music education for an additional 10,000 students? THANK YOU!
After your event has been approved and you’ve signed an agreement, we will send you the following promo materials:
- Little Kids Rock National Impact & Statistics one sheet
- Little Kids Rock Talking Points
- Social Media Guide & sample posts
- Little Kids Rock Logo in color and in black and white
- Student Photos & Videos
As soon as you receive these, please send over a short 3-4 sentence description of your event because we would love to promote it on our website and social media pages.
I’m creating my own brochures for this event, is that okay?
All publicity materials containing Little Kids Rock’s name or logo must be reviewed and approved by Little Kids Rock a minimum of 4 weeks prior to production or distribution. All references to Little Kids Rock in publicity and promotional materials should say: Little Kids Rock
Little Kids Rock students ROCK! I want them to perform at my event, how can I make that happen?
Our students are incredible rock stars and we’re so happy you think so too! We would love for them to perform at your event, however, we cannot promise a student performance at your event. All requests for a student performance at your event must be made no later than four months in advance. You will also be required to provide student backline, reimbursement for student transportation, food and entry for all students and chaperones.
My event is finished, what’s next?
Congratulations! Please mail a check with the donation to the below address including the name of your organization or event in the check memo:

Proceeds generated from your fundraiser may not be reallocated for sponsorship of future Little Kids Rock events, merchandise or memorabilia.
Because of our responsibility as the recipient of community assets, we reserve the right to inspect all fundraiser financial records in the event a question is raised about the fundraiser’s proceeds. If we have any questions, we will contact you for a check and accounting record for the event.
